Karpov Oleg Eduardovich

Oleg Eduardovich was born in 1965 in Ryazan.
In 1989 he graduated (with honors) from the Ryazan Medical Institute named after academician I.P. Pavlov, after which he was trained in internship, and then in clinical residency at the Department of General Surgery of the Ryazan Medical Institute named after academician I.P. Pavlov.
From 1992 to 2002 he was a surgeon and then deputy head physician for surgery at the Ryazan Regional Clinical Hospital.
2002 — doctoral student of the Institute of Public Health and Healthcare Management of the Sechenov Moscow Medical Academy.
2003 — Head of the Department for Advanced Development and Planning of the National Pirogov Medical Surgical Center of Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.
2004 — Head of the Healthcare Department of the Ryazan Region.
From 2004 to 2005 — Director of the Clinical and Diagnostic Complex No. 1, Director of the Administrative Department of the National Pirogov Medical And Surgical Center of Federal Agency for Healthcare and Social Development.
From 2006 to the present, he is Director General of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “National Medical and Surgical Center named after N.I. Pirogov” of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.
2005 — Defense of the thesis for the degree of Doctor of Medical Sciences in two specialties “Healthcare Organization” and “Surgery”.
2007 — awarded the academic title of professor.
2011 — elected Head of the Department of Public Health and Healthcare of the Institute for Advanced Physicians of Federal State Budgetary Institution “National Medical and Surgical Center named after N.I. Pirogov” of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.
2010 — Presidential Decree No. 1096 of 04.09.2010 “On awarding state awards of the Russian Federation” for the great contribution to the development of public health, medical science and long-term conscientious work was awarded the honorary title “Honored Doctor of the Russian Federation”.
2016 — Presidential Decree of 28.06.2016 N 302 “On awarding state awards of the Russian Federation” for his services in the field of healthcare and many years of conscientious work awarded the Order of Honor.
2016 — By the decision of the Council of Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation in connection with the high achievements in the activities and the great contribution to the development of national healthcare, he was awarded the Certificate of Honor of the Federation Council.
Full member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, the author and co-author of more than 200 scientific and educational works devoted to the current problems of medicine, the introduction of innovative technologies in clinical practice, information and healthcare organization. Supervisor and consultant of two doctoral and six candidate dissertations.
