The Pirogov Center specialists attended one of the largest and oldest conferences in the world, organized by the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA). The event was held in Chicago from December 1 to 6.
The conference traditionally presented an exhibition of achievements in the field of diagnostic radiology, the scale of which was really impressive. Participants made scientific and practical presentations. A poster session was also organized.
Pirogov Center was represented at the event by the head of the radiology department Oleg Yuryevich Bronov and radiologist Vladimir Vladimirovich Shebryakov, who made a presentation “MR phlebography in the diagnosis of post-thrombotic occlusion of the iliac veins and extravasal compression”. This study was co-written with Oleg Eduardovich Karpov, Yuri Mikhailovich Stoyko, Maxim Nikolayevich Yashkin and Oleg Yuryevich Bronov.
The report gathered positive feedback and involved those present in the discussion of the material.
Note, the Pirogov Center is one of the few institutions involved in the problems of post-thrombotic changes in the inferior vena cava and iliac veins, as well as their diagnosis. These areas are actively developing, including due to the constant updating and improvement of the material and technical base of the Pirogov Center.
